Check out the 50 Top Computing Tips from PC Magazine. Lots of good suggestions in here. Some ideas are new. Others are ones I've heard before but have been off my radar for one reason or another. All of these are useful in their own way, either for home systems or school networks.

About a week and a half ago, I included a link about a new product called Microsoft Surface to a links list. This product has generated a lot of publicity in both the realms of the technology industry and eduation. What is fascinating about this product is not its current incarnation, but rather what it demonstrates might be possible in the future.

Read here about some of the Microsoft Vista video requirements. They seem daunting, especially for schools. I cannot see upgading to Vista until purchasing new computers and after the cost of video components goes down.
