Here is an interesting list of the top 100 Web 2.0 sites on the Internet. In viewing this list, some sites I'm interested in visiting for personal productivity reasons, while others I have no interest in accessing. What I struggle with is how many of these new tools have true education applications within them. I read a lot of different educational blogs and so many of these posts promote sites such as these in education.

I see where the Library of Congress now has RSS feeds with updates on its online collections. This is a long overdue connection for someone like me who may not always remember to take the time to visit the site and view their new material. I've shoveled off our 33 inches of snow (Yes -- 33 inches!) from the driveway, but I won't be able to get out of our subdivision until a plow comes through our circle, or at least until some folks with trucks and four-wheel drive vehicles carve enough ruts for the rest of us to utilize.
