Here is a Monday Links List with a variety of links related to technology and education:
- Karl Fisch noted in his blog that Parade Magazine published an interview with Benazir Bhutto on Sunday -- over a week after her death. Amazing that the print media can't change their publishing plans quicker than that. Here is an article where there is a response from the magazine, but to me it comes off as more of a lame excuse rather than anything else. Thoughts? What is this saying about the nature of information and news in today's society?
- For those who think that Google is the end all of search, read this. I'm guessing that search technology is still very much in its infancy.
- Dennis at Tech4Teachers shared this link for the CommonCraft Shows, which produces introductory videos to new technologies. Looks like it might be good at explaining some basics of blogs, wikis, etc. to colleagues.
- OK.....this isn't related to education, but rather sports. Still, Michael Wilbon is worth a read because he is just about the most intelligent and thought-provoking sports commentator out there. His Monday weekly online chat is a must-read for sports fans.
