Our school is rapidly advancing with plans for compliance, but I'm guessing there are many places that have not given this issue any thought. It is my understanding that our Synod office will be coming out with a statement on this issue soon, if they haven't already.
I encourage all teachers and administrators to read the article linked above to have a better understanding of how email and other electronic communication may be used in litigation.
