What I would like to see is more people involved in the conversation on topics such as these. These questions cut to the heart of how education is changing and how we need to change what we do in Lutheran schools to best prepare our students for their future. I certainly don't claim to have all the answers, and there have already been times where Rob and I have different perspectives on educational technology issues. Somehow, however, we need to engage a larger audience of Lutheran teachers in this conversation. For Lutheran schools to remain relevant in the 21st century, new learning models related to technology must be engaged in order to best prepare our students. More than just a couple "techies" need to be a part of the discussion on how best to do that.

I guess that is an encouragement to each reader of this blog (and of Rob's blog) to do more than just read. Analyze, Discuss, Question. Share your ideas for the future. Disagree if you must. But join us in the sometimes gritty work of visioning for the future of education and ministry in the Lutheran church.
