Here is a links list for Thursday:

  • History teachers will appreciate the Speaking of History podcast. The creator is so prolific that it is difficult for me to keep up with all the excellent content, but don't let that stop you from sampling his work, especially 8th grade history teachers out there.
  • Rob J. sent me this link to a YouTube video on cyberbullying. Check it out. Would you use this with your students? Thanks for sending this along, Rob!
  • A couple months ago I wrote about Citizendium, a wiki project designed to have much greater scholarly control (and thereby accuracy -- at least that is what its creators hope) than Wikipedia. The project is now in beta form. You can check it out by clicking here. Will this project be successful? We'll continue to watch.
  • Do you want to keep up with the useful links I'm finding? If so, click here. I'll write more about saving and sharing links in a future post.

I got to go to Eric Langhorst's sectional at METC this year. It was really good. Both Eric and Wes Fryer podcast it
