  • Internet safety
  • Dealing with cyberbullying
  • Computer security
  • Creating passwords
  • Analyzing Internet sources
  • Social networking and posting Internet content
  • Plagiarism and copyright law

Check Out These Stats -Monday, May 21, 2007
By David Black :: 230 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Education

Check out some of these amazing statistics which highlight the vast changes in our world in recent years. Is it any wonder that education needs to change to better meet the needs of our students in this highly technological age. My lingering concern is that we are not changing fast enough, nor is there enough urgency for necessary change.

By David Black :: 485 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Internet, Education
It has been a busy couple of weeks. I was the best man at my dad's wedding. I also had the honor of witnessing my dad being honored as the Alumnus of the Year at Concordia University Chicago. At school, there evening activities several nights a week as we finish the year. We are also in the midst of printing and binding our school yearbook before the end of classes.

Therefore, it has been tough keeping up with blogging. However, even if no one else notices when I don't blog, I notice. Blogging is a discipline that not only provides a forum for sharing information for others, but also gives me the incentive to keep learning and growing myself. After all, if I'm not learning anything new, how can I have anything relevant to share with others?
