I realized from a comment that Josh S. made to a previous post that I have not done a good job of reminding people that links that I've shared through this blog and other links I've found have been saved for viewing at http://del.icio.us/dawblack. Feel free to use this link at any time to view other educational links. Many of you know that Mozilla Firefox as my Internet browser of choice. Right now work is being done on version 3 of the browser -- a version that does not promise updates in the look and feel of the program, but rather targets internal improvements in the way that the software manages and renders web pages. I used an online snowflake creator with my kindergarten students yesterday. I had no idea these children would find the activity so wildly fun and engaging. There were plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the class period -- so much so that I'm sure I will give some other classes the chance to give this activity a try.
