In his
latest post, Rob cites a discussion about IM speech and whether that would/should be appropriate for classroom projects. He encourages each of us to post our thoughts and learn from each other.
It is very difficult to get these comments and discussions going in Lutheran circles. Time for posting is clearly an issue for people, but it is still a shame because there is so much to learn from each other. I participate in forums designed for education in the public school setting, but I would much prefer getting involved in meaningful discussions with other teachers in Lutheran schools, where we can put our unique ministry slant on any topic.
Perhaps between the two of us, Rob and I might be able to engage educational technology leaders in Lutheran schools in forward-thinking conversations for the betterment of the educational opportunities of our students.
