There are more teachers in Lutheran schools starting their own blogs to share their own unique slant on education and ministry in their called settings. Josh down in Texas has begun Musings of a Lutheran Technologist, raising questions and conversations from the perspective of a high school teacher and administrator in a Lutheran high school down in Texas. then there is Jonathan's Education, Science, and Technology blog, incorporating practical science ideas with theoretical educational themes in this technological age.
I encourage you to bookmark these blogs and/or add them to your RSS reader. In addition, if you haven't given blogging a try yourself, you might want to engage in this form of communication. I find that this discipline is an important part of my own professional growth and development. No matter how few people might read these posts, I feel that if I have even an audience of one I have a responsibility to learn something new each day so that I have something meaningful to share with my readers. Therefore, this blog is a mechanism to keep me learning and growing. While blogging might not be for everyone, learning and growing should be a part of the routine for all educators. Josh and Jonathan have found meaning in sharing what they have learned. What are you learning, and with whom are you sharing these findings?
