We have already launched the first phase of some new blogging tools at TheChurchDoor.com.
Blogger's will have the ability to create their entries online or though the use of Windows Live Writer. While posting online directly is easy enough there is still a small challenge with images. Inserting images using the online editor is not that difficult, but it does require the images be sized properly prior to upload. The new tools will allow for blogger's to drag and drop images into their entries and resize them on the fly.
The image to the right only took a few seconds for me to insert and the original was taken with an 8mp camera. The cool thing here is that the image is a link to the larger file and it's all done without me inserting any code or defining anything. (The image is of my girls as we are waiting to enter Magic Kingdom)
There are also great tools available like inserting video and maps using other Windows Live services.
