On of my favorite analogies of how Lutheran Schools work is... we all work in "little silos"... In our silos are our finances, our intellectual property, our experiences, our successes, our failures, etc... we see what we have, and we protect it and keep it to ourselves... we never envision the idea that someone could share something from their silo.
As I wrote on the Technology in Lutheran Schools site, it seems to me that one of Satan's goals is to get Christians into their own silos and away from each other. We are all more vulnerable when we are alone. Therefore, we all need to work at breaking down these silos and truly work together in ministry. This is truly work -- not an easy task at all -- but something that is made more possible now than ever before when using some of the technology tools with which we have been blessed.
I encourage each of you to check out Josh's original post on this topic, read some of the comments to the post, and engage in the process of eliminating some silo that you see. May God grant us the courage and grace to do this for Him!
