Last week, Rob at Technology in the Lutheran Classroom and I dreamed and visioned about the future of technology in Lutheran schools via Skype (NOTE: If you ever want to visit with me via Skype, my username is "lutherantech"). We talked about a great many topics, but ended up focusing upon three specific actions to which we are committed. First, we are committed to engaging as many different people as possible in the conversation about the role of technology in Lutheran school classrooms, strategizing as to how to make this happen. Secondly, we committed to doing what we can to provide online professional development activities for educators all across the country, perhaps through the Lutheran School Portal. Finally, we committed to sharing relevant links with each other and the larger community of educators. To that end, you may view my latest links here, and Rob's latest links here.
Are we on the right track for helping teachers in Lutheran schools? Are we on the right track in engaging others to help build a vision for the future? Do you have ideas about how to engage others more fully in these conversations? Share your thoughts as a comment or via
